One of the popular School pupils’ jokes is this: "Oh," replied the School kid, asked if he found the semester examinations easy, "the questions were easy, all right; but the answers were so difficult! "
Kids humour is seen, also, in teaching children grammar: It was nearly the end of the School term, and it was obvious to a teacher that one of his young pupils still could not tell the difference between 'went' and 'gone' -she kept saying "I have went home.

We all make mistakes. We have to, because they show us what we need to improve and what not to do! They are our best teachers, and they’re the best way to learn, yet we will often avoid situations in which we might make mistakes.
If our kids are learning, growing, and trying new things, they will make mistakes, and we can expect it. Kids don't enjoy making mistakes, but they're usually doing the best they can. How you deal with this is crucial to how kids view their mistakes. You can either react with "how could you have done that", or "what's the matter with you? ", or not react, and accept that they're doing their best. Kids who think they will be punished or that their parents won't love them when they make a mistake learn to hide their mistakes, feel unworthy, and as a result aim to avoid mistakes in the future.

The latest studies reveal that listening is a very large part of School learning and is one of our primary means of interacting with other people on a personal basis. It is estimated that between 50 and 75 percent of students’ classroom time is spent listening to the teacher, or other students, or to audio media.
Parents set a powerful example of good or poor communication. Parents who listen to their children with interest, intention and patience set a good example. The child who is able to listen picks things up and learns quicker than others. In class the child who does not listen gets things wrong, makes silly mistakes, and often falls behind.
So, how can we as parents help our children to become good listeners? Here are a few pointers.
