What does a smart toys do, and how does playing one affect your child? Parents today are concern about the development of their children especially brain development. As a result, they tend to find brain-building toys that ‘claim' to help to boost the level of intelligence. When there is a demand, there will be a supply. Now stores are filled with various ‘smart toys'.
So, what is a smart toy? In a nutshell, a smart toy incorporates some level of computer technology that could respond according to the child's actions and can even identify the child's skill level, hence could adjust the game accordingly. A robotic dog that just walks and barks but not in response to anything the child does is not considered one of the educational toys.
In addition, smart toys tend to enhance play by interacting with the child through ‘open-ended' play suggestions that allow the child to step in to define the play scenario. For example, a smart ambulance
Many people think that birthday Party theme packages useful only for commemorating a birthday. However, these bundles of Party supplies are far more versatile. The amount of varieties and the unique make up of birthday Party theme packages makes this a perfect solution for a wide variety of parties, not just birthdays. Of particular relevance are holidays. Quite soon, Valentines Day is coming and throwing a Party for kids is a common event. Birthday Party theme packages have just what you need to make throwing the Party a cinch.
Birthday Party theme packages are bundles of supplies that contain all of the elements needed to entertain a group of guests. Each package comes complete with: a table cloth, cups, hats, napkins, plates, dessert plates, invitations, thank you notes and streamers.
What is a Party without decorations? While decorations can range from the simple to the very elaborate (and expensive), the one thing all decorations have in common is that they require planning and thought.
Here are some tips to get your creative juices flowing:
Plan your Party decorations according to the Party layout that you have in mind. You can focus on decorations for the performance area (or cake cutting area), dining table, and general areas. The activities area and food area should be kept relatively free of decorations to allow children and guests to play or get their food in a hazard-free environment.
Decorations you can get include: banners, streamers, balloons and centerpieces. Allow your birthday child to get involved by letting him/her choose the colours of the balloons, or even, if you wish, the theme of the Party decorations. It is after all, his/her special day!
The backdrop is a very important element for Party decorations. This should be placed at the performance/cake cutting area. If you're holding the Party at a function room, this should be on the stage backdrop. You can get a colourful banner as the center of the backdrop and get birthday flags and streamers to add to the backdrop. If you have balloons, add balloons at the side of the backdrop.
The backdrop can be themed, elaborate or simple - it is really up to you. Having the backdrop at the performance/cake cutting area, also allows you to get beautiful pictures of the cake cutting moment with a fantastic backdrop.
Here are some helpful suggestions to better manage your birthday Party room or space when organizing the perfect birthday Party for your child.
Before the Party, be sure to remove all fragile or breakable items from the room. Clear any large furniture you can and cover up sharp edges that might be safety hazards during Party time. It's only natural for children to like to run around when they are having fun, so try to make your place a safe environment as best as you can.
Separate your venue into at least two distinct areas. Allocate one area for activities like games or entertainment and another area for food and drinks. If you are having an entertainer at the Party, don't have him perform in front of an entrance or doorway as this will distract from the show badly. People moving in and out from these entrances will cause too much of a distraction and disrupt the show.
Ensure there is a performing space prepared, ideally, this space should be in front of a wall with your birthday banner or main decorations. Also ensure that there is ample space for children to sit and watch the show or move around if the entertainer is playing interactive games. As a rough guide, a space of about 10ft x 10ft should be sufficient for the performer to entertain up to 20 children.
If you have planned your child's birthday Party and are waiting anxiously for the big day to arrive, there are still some things to consider for the day of your child's birthday Party. Don't fret, this easy-to-follow checklist will help!
A typical kid's birthday Party ranges from 2 - 3 hours and usually includes the following main activities:
1) Games, Activities and Entertainment
2) Meal Time
3) Cake Cutting
To keep the Party going smoothly, food can be served once guests arrive or when the food is ready, whichever comes first. Games and entertainment usually start about 30mins after the expected arrival time of your guests. Entertainment can last anywhere from 1 hour to 2½ hours. Following that is usually the cake cutting before bringing the Party to an end.
